BENEFIT ACCRUDED FROM PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION
Solid Waste Management Centre At Tuirial:
The centre was inaugurated and opened on 11th December, 2019. Presently all the local councils sent their segregated garbage to SWM centre for treatment and processing.
Daily IncomingVehicle : 170 vehicles/day
Average Dry Waste : 47 tonnes/day
Average Wet Waste : 24 tonnes/day
Provision Of Dedicated Power Supply To Phed Pumping Station at Dihmunzawl (132 Kva Sub-station):
132 kV dedicated line is completed along with 132 kVA Sub-Station at Dihmunzawl. After inspection and verification by P&E Department, the line will be charged and utilized for water treatment and pumping.
10 MLD Sewage Treatment Plant at Chite:
The Sewage treatment plant of 10 MLD capacity at Bethlehem Vengthlang was made operational since 6th February 2021. Household connection to the treatment facility is being initiated.
From the Provision Of Dedicated Feeder Main To Luangmual Via 7th Day Tlang:
The duration of filling 7th Day Tlang Reservoir reduced from 40 hrs to 9 hrs.
The frequency of Water supply to the Consumer enhanced from 18 days interval to 7 days.
The duration of filling Luangmual Reservoir reduced from 9 hrs to 4 hrs.
The frequency of water supply to the Consumer of Govt. Complex enhanced from 17-18 days interval to 5 days.
From Provision Of Dedicated Feeder Line To Chaltlang Reservoir:
The duration of filling Chaltlang Reservoir reduced from 7 hrs to 4 hrs.
The frequency of water supply to the Consumer enhanced from 16 days interval to 9days.
Enhancement Of Distribution System at Mission Veng:
The frequency of water supply to the Consumer end enhanced from 6-7 days interval to 3 days.
Construction Of Water Reservoirs:
Due to the 30 nos. of Water Reservoirs build under NERUDP, the water storage capacity of Aizawl Water Supply system increased by 6596 KL.
